Wasn't there supposed to be released an official T & T VSF rule set? I would be very interested in this. I still need to get my hands on T & T, but I only heard good about it so far and plan to get hold of it for colonial gaming.

The only modifications we made were to the Martians. We gave them two attacks in hand to hand and increased their movement rates, enabling them to move faster. (Our Martians are supposed to be very fast, agile and adept at hand to hand combat, so we wanted to reflect this).

The biggest challenges are going to be writing rules for flyers, The vehicle rules look easily adaptable to accommodate steam tech etc.

We'll keep you posted, this is the first of a number of games we hope to be playing on a regular basis. We also have a BIG game planned for late September, so need to have the vehicle/flyer rules sorted by then.

As Malamute said, there weren't that many changes needed, Just for the Martians (which were actually decided after the game  lol ). The fun will be working out the contraptions  :D

Who caries said ruleset? Anyone in the US?

Though, have to agree, GASLIGHT does one fine, James' recommendation has me curious. Malamute, of course, can invest way more work in 'fixing' a ruleset than I'd like to consider.  lol

Edit: Never mind; if at first I don't succeed, try try, oh, wait, there's a search box on Brigade Games.  :D

Very nicely painted and all. But it seems a bit too fantastic to my tastes.  I mean, really, flying ships?

Great report!

The Martians look very cool with their armor, but I think you made need a few more in the future...

And all those (mostly foundry) character figures...  ;D
