Dalauppror!

I've been following your blog for a while, and I just read this post this morning! I like the project, and I'm super glad you went with 28mm figs as well! I'm keen to see how it comes together, especially with the older styles + newer styles that you're planning to do! But please oh please don't entice me to get into a new historical period! I really need to stop finding new periods and finish a second army for one of my current periods... :)

Anyway, looking forward to it.

A nice project Michael. Looking forward to seeing how it shapes up.
Are you going to be tempted by the Fireforge plastics?

Thanks mates, glad you seems to like this project as much as I do:)

@FFF: Just one link, are mych more out ther;) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Crusades

@Neldoreth: Regarding all your stunning Viking minis you almost have 1/2 the project:) Just some knights to lead them and some Russians to fight with;)  Iīm a great fan of your very nice website, lots of inspiration there, thanks !

@Richard: I got some realy nice inspiration from your 2nd build thread with the Fire Forge Knights. But I wonīt use them, had a realy close look at them at Salute and I didnīt realy like what I saw, so I actually bought me some Knights from curteys miniature instead, that have just been waiting some months for me to start this project up...

I saw some nice pictures of the the Fire Forge sprues for there Infantry... they looked better then the knights, at least at the pictures....might be interesting to see how they will match the Gripping beast Vikings for some nice mixing.

you can find the pictures of Fire Forge Infantry sprues here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.481357498550246.114214.271339052885426&type=1

and some painted up here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fireforge-Games/271339052885426?sk=photos_stream

The thumb has healed perfectly. No damage what so ever so I'm up and running again- hurrah!

Currently glueing together the Perry Medieval cottage. Trying to decide what to mount it on, wood or thick plasticard but that's another story....

Darrell.
