Thanks mates !

In my mind it work well to mix most manufacturers, i done it in this project as well as my 15th centery one. Of course they are some times of slightly different scales then you compare them unpainted, but in the end... painted and on the gaming table no one ontice ;)

best regards Michael

Great work on updating them ~800 years Michael! You have a really admirable pace with this project, something that I can only dream about for any of my own projects. What kind of plans you have for the leaders on both sides?

Thanka Antti !

These was realy quick as they already had the base colours, I just had to rebase them, give em a wash and a quick highlight.

About the leaders, for the Heathens I have decided to use the Warlord mini from the Jomsviking box, dont like him that much, but I havent got any better at the moment, later on he will probably be replaced by a mounted one...

For the Crusaders I actually already have a leader in Bishop Thomas of Åbo, but if you mead a more royal leader I have Jarl Birger in minde :)

Best regards Michael

Wow, lovely idea and superb finish to that banner!  :-* Great work Michael. Will you make any smaller unit banners for rest of the heathens?

Lovely  :-* I think I need to get me that Harold Godwinson mini. Once again, how have you done the snow on the bases?

Thanks !

Sorry I missed you snow question, the snow are Games Workshop.

I make the base as I use to, you can find a short tutorial here:

BUT I skip the green flock AND I add the GW snow after the Scenic Cement have dryed.  If you use Scenic Cement on the snow you will get ice instead...

Thanks Michael,

I think you have answered the snow question earlier but me being me, couldn't remember it anymore. So thanks again for the snow tip, the frosty snow look on your bases is really good.

Thank you !!!

I start to see the end of the first part of my Baltic Crusade Project, left to do are:

12 Heathen Warriors - Almost done pictures in a day or so...

6 Swedish Crusader Knights - Not started.

12 Swedish Ledung Soldiers - Made some small conversions can you see in the picture below, they are now all primed and the painting can start...

Best regards Michael
