Great project. This is a period that really fascinates me (I have the associated Christiansen's and the Osprey and books) and I will follow your blog with interest.

Thanks, glad to be able to inspire.

I have now finished the Bishops Stambo/Bannerman. The Bishop will follow closely...

More pictures and a short history lesson at my blog  ;)

The sabot bases work really well. Certainly something I'll consider next time  :)

Thanks Stephen, just be sure to put a neomagnet in the bottom so they sit tight at the movementtrays.

During the weekend I been painting some Knights for the Bishops Retinue. The first one are Chaplain Wilhelm that was granted land by Bishop Thomas in 1234.

Some more pictures at my blog.

Are they sold by the same people?

No, the bases and Trays are from Warbases, custom made for me but I´m sure they will help you out
Bases
infantry round 20mm
cavalry oval 40x20mm
trays
Infantry: 80x50mm with 7 slots
Cavalry: 80x80mm with 5 slots

The magnets are from a ebay shop spider_magnets

the ones I use are Neodymium Disc Magnets 5x1 mm Grade N40

ofcourse some extra work to drill and glue them in to the bases and trays but I think its worth the extra troubble. remember to turn the magnets right so the minis don´t get repelled by the trays...

Best regards Michael
