Well, they're coming along but I've had a bit of a mental block on them, didn't really know which way to go to finish them off but I ink that's out of the way now and I'm hoping to have the master finished for moulding next weekend  :o :D

Can't say fairer that that.

But if they aren't ready for moulding, any news on more Martians instead?

Or is it just trees this month?

I've just posted about the City Martians to whet appetites of what's to come  :)

http://redplanetminiatures.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/the-city-martians-and-their-ways.html?m=0

As mentioned before the vast majority of the City Martian settlements are next to the canals, enabling quick and reliable trade: although on some of the longer routes waystations have been built with limited defences to protect from the Sky Martian raids. Long caravans of travellers sometimes spend weeks or even months on the routes travelling from town to town, city to city gathering news and new items to sell along the way.

THOSE are not skiffs, sir.  Are you slacking, or are the skiffs in the cupboard with the wizard tower?

The skiff is ready to go in the mould  :o

A couple of pictures here until I complete the blog post.

The main mast and rear finial are separate and there will be two harpoons, two jibs and hopefully the trimsman supplied with the basic kit.

The full kit will be worked on after Salute and will include vacformed sails and various bits and pieces.

cheers

James
