Scrumplicious and delumptious!!  8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

They are superbly painted and very much look the business. I think you've done a stilring job on the armours as they wouldn't have been too shiney etc on campaign.

I hope you do more Late Medievals!!

Darrell.

Hi Michael,

Love the heavy horse. I'm looking to do the bastard of Exeter myself, where did you find his heraldry?

Kind regards,

Stephen

Hello Stephen

I get a lot of my info through Freezywater publications. I'm also a member of the Lance and Longbow whose journal the Hobilar is a great source of info and inspiration. All my flags are from freezywater, I just overpaint them to add depth and to key the colours to the figures. The Bastards standard is the same as Exeter with a black diagonal bar across from top right to bottom left. There is also a crescent to the top of the black bar. I know there are far more learned medieval scholars out there. Hopefully they could confirm or enlighten. Hope this helps some.

Cheers

Great, I'm a member of the same. Should have thought to check out Freezywater first  ;)

Thanks for your help  :D

At first glance I though those were really nicely painted 15mms (given the sheer no. of 'em, multiple basing etc.), then I looked closer and was like  :o  An epic body of cavalry indeed!

Perhaps there's a way of merging you...

As 30thPanzer?

Two beautiful units there.  Any chance of some individual photos of the separate models?
