Any chance of casting it hollow, to reduce the weight? It'll be a real brick, otherwise.

(Oh, and I'm desperately looking around for $32USD + postage as we speak...) :)
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."

I could I guess, I think I'd do them solid unless someone wants it hollow cast.

We did the weight question...  ;D

It's not been cast yet so unable to weight it as a resin piece.

Totally without knowledge here but wouldn't cubic cm (L x W x D) x density/weight/mass/whatever (see, don't even remember the right term this early morning,) per cm cubed = (at least approximate) weight?  Does the density of resin vary significantly based on the mixture?

Gracias,

Glenn

I'll cast it, you do the maths and we'll see who gets the correct answer.  :P

Had a bad back and neck most of the week so only just got the model into rubber, I'll start casting in the wee small hours.

GOOD NEWS for our Stateside cousins - it looks like Brent of Company B fame will be carrying this model so no fearfully expensive trans-Atlantic postage.

Three cheers for Brent, etc.  :-*

I think for 28mm it's ok if the scale is slightly smaller, this beast would get huge otherwise ;)

Nah too narrow for 28mm for me. Shame but I'll stick with 1/43 diecast options I reckon. Good luck with it though seriously and widen the market and aim for 20mm sales as well?

Hope you get to feeling better soon. I hate when my back flares up.

On another note, YAY for casting and YAY! for Brent!

I will take that to mean the density of the material is dependent on the mixture, not that anyone's math skills are deficient.    ;)

That said if you supply the dimensions and the average density of the resin I will give the math a shot.   8)

Gracias,

Glenn

Yep, we will have this in our moderns section.  It will make a nice convoy with our other offerings.

I think the size is good, since this is representative of a generic RV or Winnebago.  A true scale version in 1:56 would be huge, and literally need to have a full Interior as well. It would also be similarly priced to a large piece of terrain.

Hmmm...

Anyhow, this would also make a nice urban assault vehicle.  Now I need to get a good series of sculptures of the characters from "Stripes"

only a couple of inches or so wider and  it would have been idea. Again shame.
