New TAG Italian Wars Greens
« on: October 16, 2012, 11:25:04 PM »
Currently on the TAG worbench is a whole slew of greens for the Italian Wars/early Renaissance period. Loads of Italians, with elmeti, mounted crossbowmen, Albanian stradiots and some Venetian militia archers :

All sculpts by Nick Collier and the packs will presumably become available over the next few weeks - as soon as Pete can get them cast up i imagine.

I've been eyeing their Italian Wars stuff with some interest lately but it's not a period I know all that much about. I have also been playing Assassin's Creed II which has spurred on the interest.
Great minis though, their sculpts just keep getting better and better.
Does anyone know anything about the progress of the Tudor greens that have been in their news section for ages now?

An embarrassment of Italian Wars riches.
Nothing for ages, and then Perry and TAG come along within a few months of each other with new ranges for this period :)

Interesting that the Perrys have worked their way forwards from the medieval period to reach the dawn of the Renaissance and the Italian Wars. Whereas TAG have worked their way back from the TYW to reach the same point  ::)

Some of those archers are really lovely, dynamic figures. And these are a lot less 'bobble-headed' than some of Nick Collier's recent work for TAG...

Nice  :)
