Hi Everybody!
« on: October 23, 2012, 04:37:13 PM »
Hello all,

My painting and gaming intrests lie mainly in Dark age WAB (Saxons really, or anything anti Norman!) Hundred years war, old school fantasy, and classic board games such as Space hulk and Blood bowl. Also quite keen on constructing buildings and landscape scenery, which is convenient as I work as an Architectural model maker in London.

Looking forward to getting involved with everyone.

Chris

Probably 20 years after yours!  ;)

I guess it would have to be before everyone staying making everything out of bloody plastic! Can't beat a good bit of lead.  :)  More into Warhammer than 40K, but anything cool really...

Yourself?

Hi Bezzo,

I work for Foster and partners, http://www.fosterandpartners.com/Practice/Default.aspx who do a bit of everything, Towers, Bridges, Airports, Stadiums to name a few. The scale varies, 1:1 mock ups to 1:10000 masterplans but these are rare and we find ourselves working between 1:50 and 1:1000 most of the time. Currently making a 4 x 6 metre 1:240 model of the Apple headquarters in San francisco.

I'll post some pics shortly of projects i've been involed in

I am into most things in lead...the older the better. Recently picked up some hand cast Jack Scruby minis from the 70s....wondrous old stuff. Load of pics on my blog
