Hi all,  Just popping on to get my one post in so I dont get my account deleted .

So hello all,  Great forums with loads of inspiring work.   Just getting interested in Victorian Sci-fi in 28mm (Up till now its just been Aeronef)
What rules sets are availble for small scale Skirmish type play?   Looking for something were each played can have a company i.e. East india tea trading company,  League of Honorable gentlemen,  Fu Manchu exotic importers etc.   The idea being that different fractions can try to out do each other in a type of 'watch your company/party develop as campaigns go' kind of way.

Anyway keeping this post short and sweet until I have something of any use or value to say   :D

Cheers all.

Ahhh, Western Australia, the State of Excitement... 50 billion flies can't all be wrong!!!

Since this is the VSF thread, how about a scenario based on the scene from Gallipoli where the old man in the desert, who when informed by the protagonists that the Kaiser might invade, looks around says that the Kaiser is welcome to it.  So the Kaiser's steam machines invade Western Australia.  The problem, of course, is how to deal with all the flies...

Rabbiz,

Gaslight rules are good for small skirmish games. Fast to learn, very flexible, and pretty casual. Makes for lots of fun with a clever scenario.

Hello, welcome on board. Aprt from Gaslight you could look at Valour and Steel and Flesh. They are based on th Brother Against Brother rules system.
