'Not-Downey-Junior' Sherlock Holmes figure
« on: October 27, 2012, 08:46:43 PM »
EDIT: Well as it turns out the perfect figures have been released:

From Wargames Illustrated and also available at North Star: http://www.northstarfigures.com/prod.php?prod=7937

Old Post: My first post on the forum and apologies for not showing any relevant pictures. Have recently got EotD and started getting some figures (have signed an unearthly pact with the better half not to paint anything until the office is decorated..... The things you do for some peace and quiet!)

In my ever increasing old age  ;D I am sure I saw a 28mm version of Sherlock Holmes  and Watson (in the recent movie style) somewhere on the interweb...... but have forgotten to peg the link. Any pointers guys and gals?

Have fun storming the castle! ...and that really isn't me you know...

Gothic Project: leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=55943.0 - although on pause atm as too much RL stuff getting in the way.

Thanks for the Muttonchop pointer - they do a good not-Moriarty and sharpshooter henchman. I may have seen a figure on a blog somewhere so will have to re-visit my searches.

The figure I saw for not-Holmes was bareheaded with a cane and painted in a dark suit.... Oh and in need of a shave.

And a required maniacal yet self-satisfied grin?

I'm sure I've seen the like, but not as Holmes. Perhaps as a villain.

Sorry I can't be of assist.

There are plenty of SH models out there that are not Downey-Junior.

Thanks all - you are all right. I am sure it was a minor conversion I saw on a blog somewhere (wasn't Anatolli's although that looks great). I'll keep searching and post it when I see it.
