We went to a craft show on Saturday and found some rather splendid A4 sheets of card designed for birthday card makers.
They have old advertising style posters on them, and my immediate thought was easy (plus cheap and colourful) ways to decorate pulp sets.
There are several designs, we managed to pick up :
Ship posters - Mauretania, Cunard, Pacific Star, Titanic, etc 7 posters each 65mm wide 90mm high plus one picture 130mm wide 90mm high.
Could be handy on the fence near a dockyard or on the side of a warehouse.
Film posters 1 - Dr No, You Only Live Twice, Thunderball, From Russia With Love, Great Escape, Easy Rider, Cabaret, Help, 8 posters each 95mm wide and 65mm high
Film posters 2 - Its a Wonderful Life, My Fair Lady, Wizard of Oz, High Society, Casablanca, Attack of the 50ft Woman, 6 posters each 65mm wide 95mm high plus a large Gone With The Wind 140mm wide 95mm high
Film posters 3 - Tom Mix, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Lone Ranger, High Noon, 14 posters (10 of them Tom Mix), 4 are 65mm wide 95mm high, 8 are 30mm wide 50mm high
Drinks posters - 9 posters 65mm wide 90mm high, Jack Daniels, Gordons, Sandeman, Dewar's, Captain Morgan, Black & White, Johnnie Walker, Guiness (x 2)
They also had some with cars (Minis) and scooters/motorbikes (but they had sold out.
Could be handy. At only 85p a sheet not a bad price. They have a shop in the West Midlands and a website
