Why is it only figure painters actually like pre-raphaelite painting? Every pukka artist I've ever spoken to sort of sneers at them.

A. It's because we are incurable romantics.

B.'Artists' are not allowed to like Pre-Raphaelite painting,it's in their job description,in the 'cool' clause.

Anyway,I know plenty of figure painters who I believe are artists,you yourself my man are one of them :)

And I like pre-raphaelite paintings as well by the way. Might be the stark highlighs :D

Working on my jumping trout at the moment,though the splash is too big; I'll post some 'splash' wip pics tonight :)
