Finished Innsmouth Board
« on: December 05, 2012, 04:39:57 AM »
I've been working on turning my Pulp board into something that resembles Insmouth.  In some cases this meant changing some signs(the National Grocery and the Marsh Refinery).  I also wanted to build a small harbour to give the city a more nautical feel.

I've posted most of these buildings individually before.  Here are the buildings together in two different configurations:

Here is a picture of a small plate some friends of mine made for the board frame:

Thanks to everyone for their inspiration.  The hybrid was painted by Superflynt.  There are more pictures on my Flickr account.

Lovely little board and with all the loose buildings it should be very flexible as well, which is always great.

I must ask, the name plate, is that hand engraved?

It looks great now, Oldben1!
 :-*

The buildings looked brilliant in the first place, but the rework has certainly paid off, the new look is great.
Very atmospheric.
Now for some more cars or further scatter terrain for the streets, methinks... ;)

That name plate looks bloody good as well, sir.

I'd take some better pictures but it's too cold outside in Winnipeg ( minus 23).  I will take some more later this week.   The name plate was made with a c and c machine.

Thanks for all the comments!
