Jaw dropping.  :o I am an ok painter, but terrain eludes me. I have looked for a good guide, but I have heard that many are not good.

Top work. Looks like fun to play on fella.

The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

Great stuff! I'm actually working on the same kind of thing, with many of the same things. The refinery dock (the walkway) is actually going to exit right into the river I'll be working on.

Love the stuff, brother! So much, I'm stealing the idea! :)

Great work, technically superb and very rich in detail. could never do it my self.

The cobblestone on the dockyard, how is that made? if from embossed plasticard, please tell me what manufacturer.

The only critic I have on the board is its playability. Seems very open with few possibilities. adding some debris, old rotting crates, and maybe an old rusty broken down car would help with playability.
Idea's is endless as so far as I have understand Innsmouth is a good sized town but getting a bit worn down and such, so having dirty streets is maybe more fitting.

One thing I have learnt from playing on an urban board, is not having the houses into a checker-board setup. to much open lanes and to few and alleys to hide in. Maybe setting the houses different on the board would help alot, a long curved street would be better in my lowly opinion. Hope you don't my constructive criticism in a wrong way!.

I my self made a cemetery board recently, i discovered that I need the Chapel inside the cemetery walls for playability and some more mausoleums to block line of sights. The gravestones gives cover, but no matter the scenario, every game got the same, a big shoot out among the gravestones. Putting up some line of sight blockers like the chapel really helped on how the playability.

The cobblestone is a LeMax cobblestone mat.  I had great difficulty keeping the paint adhering.  small sections are okay.

Lots of people have commented on the open spaces.  I have lots of crates and barrels bit I left most of them off so that it was easier to see the buildings.  My mistake I guess!

The roads I use are linoleum, and they look like old broken asphalt close up.

We all all just sharing experience and ideas. The more I play Strange Aeons, the more i want to clutter the gaming board with terrain.

I will try to find that cobblestone mat, need to make some pathways for my cemetery.

I would wish that Plasticville and those fancy cars where easier to get a hold of in europe, found a few stores who sells it at a step price level and with a very limited selection.

Your terrain is really nice, every time I see it new details pop up!
