Freikorps Armored Cars and Trucks
« on: December 16, 2012, 04:33:29 PM »
If anyone hasn't seen this yet, below website has some excellent pictures of Freikorps armored cars and trucks, most of which are not the pictures you so often see.  Includes a makeshift "armored truck" made by applying wood and sheet iron/steel to a truck (and adding a machine gun).   Some good modeling ideas here.

Some excellent pictures there.
Now to find some 1/100 trucks to convert for 15mm use.

They still had a captured British tank?! Wow!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Thanks its a useful link,The lorry with the chain drive looks likely to be the Daimler chain drive a common German army transport.
I've already made a basic Daimler lorry and an Ehrhardt armoured car, also an Austin series 3, These cover the basics. The Armstrong Whitworth I've been asked to make.Copplestones already has one along with the Russian Armoured car/Lorry (the name escapes me right now)hope this helps
