How about LPL7?
« on: January 08, 2013, 07:31:54 AM »
I've been rummaging through my stuff, getting "organized" for 2013 and took the opportunity to put together a few groups for LPL7 (even though I've said I wouldn't participate). Just wanted to check if we're on for this season.

LPL7 will come. Though a bit later this year, probably in April.

Having enjoyed the Build Something contest the LPL would certainly be a good way to move on some painting.

Good news prof. Now off to my lead-pile and see what I'm going to paint. Mmm... so many choices  ;D

Regards,
Za

Having seen the standard of some of the painting on this Forum I was somewhat apprehensive of putting my relatively poor painting skills on show. However in line with my New Years resolution to try something new whenever the opportunity arises I will throw my hat into the ring when the LPL re-starts. :?

April, eh?  Might not be able to make it this year then, as April is when I am expecting my shipment of Timbor-Baby 2nd edition.  1st edition was enough of a challenge, so I doubt I will have time come April to commit.  Now if the LPL had started a few months earlier, it would be a different story.  Looking forward to the eventual entries though!

Suggest you add to this existing sticky...

http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=18831.0

That thread includes a lot of ideas and suggestions we haven't used yet.
(Perhaps people suggesting theme ideas could check through it before suggesting the same things again? ;))

You mean I read through the entire 7 pages for nothing! :D

Some good suggestions I thought. Civil Wars seemed to have a lot of potential. Movie themes could be good too.

We used to have to do these art projects where we were given a title and we had to paint something reflecting that. My favourite was 'Clutter can be inteteresting'. A similar approach could be fun?
