BoW is the best source for miniature related laughs these days 8)
http://www.beastsofwar.com/mercs/kemvar-mercs-send-shock-trooper/

They are however correct in saying this looks rather like a player from Mantic's Dreadball. Or a superhero for that matter. So if you also accept it's a suitable KemVar trooper from MERCS then it's actually a fairly ubiquitous figure, which is good and also the reason why I put the post about it here instead of under a more specific forum.

while jumping around that link a bit, I noticed that they had some "clear" (not opaque) minis ... THAT got my attention, cause I usually found it hard to get "invisible" miniatures like this.

Does anyone actually got these, yet?

Oh my $9.99 each.  Great  looking  "26 mm" figure but outside my price range (and I am trying to stay away from anything except 1/600th unless it is an addition to my current interests, awesome, and inexpensive.  A few exceptions for my old Der Kriegspieler and vintage 1978/1979 Ral Partha fantasy (dwarf, goblin, gnome) armies.)

Gracias,

Glenn

oops, sorry!

found them on their retributors site.
http://store.mercsminis.com/products/i-stand-with-kemvar-deal

But a bigger picture is at the moment as an advertise of some sorts on their homepage

http://www.mercsminis.com/

I have heard, that they are very expensive, maybe because they are limited or something the like.
