Will be there, the club I am in is doing a Bolt Action demo.  A small show when it started last year, it will be bigger this year and will, hopefully, fill a niche in the lack of shows in the SW.

Just picked this up:

Quote
MiniCon is on the 27th of this month; at the National Star College, Ullenwood GL53 9QU (between Leckhampton & Crickley Hill/Air Balloon). There's a lot more traders this year including Gripping Beast, Total Wargamer, Mantic, Warlord plus others, and they're doing a bring & buy.

Well if Answer is and Ramirez go, then that makes it nearly a mini LAF con!  N'AMLAM?

Well, popped along to see this, much impressed with the venue and level of traders.  It bodes well for the future, I spoke to Robey, the organiser, and it seems that he is already planning to make next year's bigger and better.

Colonel Bill, Ainsty and Warlord all took money off me...... :D

It was good to see a few old friends and make some new ones.

Really enjoyed the show - good venue with friendly catering staff, too.

Spent a bit of cash and also took some phots which I'll post up later. Bargain of the day for me was a copy of Heroquest (MBG) for a tenner - complete, a bit scuffed but all the minis, furniture and doors plus a few extra figures.

Here some phots from the event

General overall shot

Wyvern Wargamers' "Saga" game

Good trader support, including "Colonel Bill" ...

"Ainsty Castings" ...

"Four A Miniatures" and "Midlam Miniatures" ...

and others (as noted by Joroas)

Terrain Geeks' "Malifaux" terrain board, complete with their terrain castings ....

Cheltenham Wargame Associations' "Bolt Action" game.

Clockwork Goblin had their new WWWII game in 15mm in action and a few other games I didn't manage to photograph.

Thanks to all the gamers, traders and organisers for a great local show.

Well, I was careful with my spending, I bought the Ainsty wharf with an extra wall, a raft and a sampan.  Colonel Bill sold me a FIW Fort and a 17thC wagon.  Warlord sold me some pinned markers. Got so excited I went home and sorted out a small Copplestone order.

WMMS only 5 weeks' away......
