I can't resist to post a couple of pictures from the campaign I co-wrote in the last VaeVictis Armées Miniatures.
Figures and buildings are mine, but the photograph really shot great photos. And there are a lot of more in the article.
They are so nice that it convinced me to buy more figures and buildings...

Olivier has created a very nice set of swashbuckling rules using the GW LotOW/otR mechanics. There were links here a while back to the English translation. They are very, very well executed and capture Dumas quite nicely.

Thanks a lot , guys!
I was very pleased by the ground. In these times, Paris was a giant dump. The old roman sewers only covered a small part of the city. So the paved and cobblestone streets and alleys were covered by mud (not to say worse...)
I was inpired by these photos taken in the city of Bourges during the shooting of a new version of the 3 musketeers (a real piece of shit!) some years ago
And I really like this kind of muddy ground so that's what I tried to do with my streets ( pieces of cobblestone and a mix of sand, plaster and pva glue. )
If you like Medieval city, Bourges is a very nice one with splendid old building and renaissance Palaces and a great cathedral (nearly as old as Notre-Dame in Paris). You can check this website with some nice pictures.

Olivier

Nice atmospheric photos, Sgt Perry.
Hmmm, I'll have to get me some of those metal mobile fences for my perod games ;-)
And I hope someone remembered to remove that glass on the step before the shoot began.

Very nice scene and figure, it reminds me that I need to learn that game. The second set of picture are some of the most realistic figures I have seen done and the addition of the Bicycle rack is inspirational
