That was my take on it as well.  It is a fake news story.

A bit concerting that there was any doubt over this...  lol

They are usually the best stories though... like my favourite; Army calls for increased body armor... which is dated due to more recent events and was funnier in 2010.

For 'Imagi-Nation' fans, there is also U.S. Ambassador to Bulungi recalled.

I grew up in Los Angeles.   o_o

I have been to Texas with college friends ("Native" Texans - I will eschew the obvious joke potential.)   o_o   o_o

Unlikely, true.   ;)

Exactly... I can sit here and think 'joke', but from your point of view it's more 'I'm not that surprised really'. What a world we live in...   ::)

I assumed joke but then the analyst training (working West Africa right now) kicked in.  Were this the AOI country I would have assumed a real life story.  Texas/LA projects/slums/barrios at their worst is an empty church very early on Sunday morning compared to the best day in the AOI country.

Glenn

Oh, sorry for the "Gov-speak" - AOI = Area of Interest.

Gracias,

Glenn

No worries... I watched 'Good Morning Vietnam', so if I can handle "Seeing as how the VP is such a VIP, shouldn't we keep the PC on the QT? 'Cause if it leaks to the VC, he could end up MIA, and then we'd all be put on KP", I'm pretty much good for anything.

;)
