Hi chaps. I am a newbie, and I am trying to download some photos of my collection on the site. Can anyone try and explain to a thick and decrepit wargamer in a simple way how to do it. I am trying to attach the images from a tablet but it says file is too big. Now I know it's me being particularly stupid, so any help would be really appreciated. Hopefully the photos will be worth it once done

Just started collecting for the 1859 War. Such a colourful and interesting period to paint and wargame. My intention is to start with the Austrians and French and then add some Piedmont troops. Then hopefully continue into 1860 with Garibaldi and his Red Shirts,These are the first two battalions of Austrians with a unit of Hussars. All produced by Heroes of the Dark Ages

Very nice figures.
I have some Gringo40's too and just received some HOTDA Austrians, two of which I am painting up now.

I am probably going to use The Men Who Would be Kings as a rule set, using the Dalauppror style 3,2,1 basing.

I'll post some piccies when they're ready.

Excellent work, though my own interest is in The First War of Unification, I will be buying some of the above once thd range expands Solferino here I come.
One question how do the Gringos40 figs scale to the others.?

The Gringo 40's tend to be on the bigger side of 28mm. The bases are quite thick so they are raised a little bit. Probably would not want to match with others in the same unit but all together they are ok and next to the French they look good. I have attached some pictures of my friends French from Heroes of the Dark Ages,  Franco Prussian range. We had a big game at the Exeter Legionary show a few weeks back.

Thanks Emir. Would love to see some pictures. Never thought about Tmwwbk for this. Now that would be a good idea.
Thanks Shipka. Your enthusiasm for wars in the 19th century has been one of the main reasons that started me on to this period. My credit card and wife thank you as well!!!!!!!!!
