Pulp Inspiration

My wife let me know about the pics of this young lady named Riddle in one of her cosplay outfits.
Now if I could only sculpt worth a damn...  ;)
Ole Dave Stevens would be happy.
Enjoy

No pants to help deter those pesky aerodynamic issues?  :-)

Rather a spiffy image the young lady presents, what?  ;)

the only explanation is that the blast from the rocket backpack is so hot that she needs cooling. Whoever strolls around clad in this fashion shouldn't mind indecent proposals.......

I picked up the Rocketeer comics that were on sale on Comixology a while back, and found the inspiration for this costume.  Turns out, there' s a bit in one of the issues where Cliff gets shot (while on a runaway train) and Betty uses the rocket to fly them both to safety.  Of course, Betty seems to be perpetually underdressed, thus the stockings.

She has no pockets or pouches. Where does she keep her loose change?

Glad to see there are people who are more distracted than I. For whatever my faults I have so far never walked out the door without my jodhpur breeches on. Never left the ground without them either.

On a similar note, I purchased this figure from Studio McVey because she's just just so cool:

I wasn't sure what to do with her, but then I got the ridiculous idea for a Russian rocketeer Pulp league (painting her as a blonde). That one's still only in the planning stage though. Trying to work on getting my initial two leagues set up first.
