WWII Ghurkas in Burma?

Hi everybody,

I need help. I am working on the Pacific War supplement for Mongoose Battlefield Evolution: World at War game.
I am tempted to include Ghurkas in the army lists.
Right now I tend to include them in the Chindit list as a supporting choice.
So that you can field a Chindit force that is supported by 1 or 2 Ghurka squads.

Is this historical justified?   Or just plain stupid?
I am a bit lost here...

OK units fight as units the ghurkas were battalion sized units like every other unit.  I would say either all Ghurka or no ghurka.

Later in both expeditions, particularly the first, they were scratch units as casualties and circumstance had fractured their orbats this went to the wall but by this time they were basically a used husk of a force and only good for running.

What is clear is they are not used in penny packets but as regular infantry units like any other.
