Adventures in the lost lands - rescues near Gotham
« on: March 13, 2013, 01:24:05 PM »
After our "People that time forgot" campaign, Anthony and I played another THW "Adventures in the lost lands" game.
This time, the story was about policemen and super heroes rescuing civilians in a village where dinosaures were sighted.
You can read my AAR with photos on my french blog here :

http://oll.free.fr/Imagifig/?p=3515

There was a lot of action and thrills...

Giant predators fighting each other...

Innocents in danger...

And heroes in stupid looking outfits...

All miniatures and sceneries come from Anthony's (Jaffar in this forum) stock.

Is that an Hourman mini? Where did you get him?
It's nothing, sir. Just a burn from a ray gun.

It looks like the Hourman figure from Heroclix.  You can get him online from lots of different sellers pretty cheap:  http://www.trollandtoad.com/p122408.html

@doowopapocalypse and Myrlyn, that's right.

We played the last part of the campaign. You can read about (in french) The diabolic machine of Gorilla Grodd in my blog :

http://oll.free.fr/Imagifig/?p=4106

Anthony (owner of miniatures and scenery) has made his own here :

The adventure took place close to a castle near Gotham city :

Again, it was ful of thrill, dinosaurs and heroic actions... Great fun.

We use Adventures in the Lost Lands (2 hour wargames)

Awesome looking game!  Your 'Clix re-paints and re-bases look fabulous!

Adding dinosaurs to any Supers game is a big win!

Another episode in the campaign against Gorilla Grodd :

We pass through the portal and into the unknown island...

Where danger awaits...

Mysterious Copperhead and the intergang...

What game system is this one? I see you refer to it as THW?
Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.
