Best glue for Heroquest figures?
« on: March 18, 2013, 04:00:48 PM »
A friend of mine if trying to repair his old heroquest set. I'm not sure if it's styrene (in which case I guess Cyanoacrylate is just fine?) or some other plastic.

Any recommendations? We have CA, several epoxies, and some kind of polystyrene cement.

My set (or sets, to be exact...) has polystyrene and cardboard parts. The plastic bits can be glued excellently with plain old polystyrene glues...

They are styrene and can be glued with regular polystyrene cement, but the plastic is a very hard type and I personally found that superglue (or superglue and pinning) gave a better result.
