Lesterville. Most buildings are 20 years old now. Long before these fancified laser cuts showed up.

My town is "Anachronism" and it is a doubly rough place.  First, it is in the rough stages of construction, though had it out of the deep end of the closet recently and am itching to get back to work on it.  Second, it is not a place for the tender of foot to trod heavily, no, sir.

And since I don't use photo hosting you'll have to follow the link to see pictures, just scroll down the page:

Next step is ordering windows and doors from Irregular Miniatures.  Lots of windows and doors.

FA, I like the size of your table - the grand scope.  Tables of that size are one reason why my game allows models to move up to 24" in a turn (although that's pushing it, and with good die rolls).

I like it!

Thanks, Elbows.  Fortunately I work in 15 mm so it's a more doable set up than it would be in 28 mm.  By the way, those photos of the town don't show a lot of the buildings in process.  I have several religious establishments that will be focal points for a scenario where the different denominations just can't take the doctrinal differences no more.  Also quite a few residential houses.  And certainly the livery stable, stage corrals, wheelwright, black smith, etc.  And a large stock yard where the cattle drives end and the rail trip begins for the 'little doggies'.  These won't be scratchbuilt - already have them, painted resin pieces - but there are several fancy houses, Victorian style, for folks like the Doc, the Mayor, etc.

Oh, and I've put together and posted a list of a bunch of stuff I've been collecting to decorate my old west town.  Same link as above.

Rewatched The Missing yesterday and need to build a nice box canyon with a place at the top for a group of defenders.  Yup, its time I got back to work on building Anachronism.

Hah, yeah I had forgotten yours was in 15mm, that would explain it.  I thought "damn he has a 12' table at his disposal..."  lol

Well, that still incomplete 15 mm town you see in the photos is actually quite a bit longer than 12' but my table at home is 5' x 12' and can, at a pinch, be extended to 16'.  Absorb that and rethink my comment about 15 mm versus 28 mm.  And the real uniqueness is that my wild west collection may be the largest number of figures in one period I have.  I haven't counted everything up but it's a lot.  A pretty big lot.  Not for everyone since most people think of the old west as strictly a skirmish game.  I see it as so much more.  Now, if I can only get it all painted and the rules right, I'll never be bored or at a lost for something to do.

Seems that nobody mention Leadwood from Colonel O Trust (member of this forum). I take the liberty to add it here. Fully scratch build and trully amazing.

Lot of pics on his blog : http://colonelotruth.blogspot.co.nz/p/leadwood.html

All,
Here is the Flickr Link to photos of my reasonably complete town which I have named Purgatory, AZ.  Along with it, are photos of the "Peterman Ranch", somewhere on the outskirts of Purgatory.
