Fantastic Rocky Terrain Board

Chris Vaughn, who runs demo games for .45 Adventure just built an awesome terrain board (he happened to do it for some silly game named 40K, but will be using it for .45 adventure games as well).

Simply great -love it. Reminds ma a lot of Antelope Canyon in Arizona.  Quite an effort to get all this done and documented.  think it's a pleasure to have games on this. :mrgreen:
The only personal criticsm I have has nothing to do with the craftsmanship behind this. It's really a matter of my own personal "color feeling"   - I would have left out the last dry-brushing with white?bleached bone?. That made it  looking colder. I really enjoyed the warm tones before that. You could feel the heat (or the minis at least) like in Devil's furnace in Arches. :freak:

I'm in the process of convincing / coercing Mr. Vaughn to bring the board to Cold Wars next year. I told him if he supplied the board, I'd supply the game!

I saw the professionals with Burt Lancaster, Woody Strode, Robert Ryan and Lee Marvin yesterday. Wanna play that movie on this board ) The Canyon scenes are great !

Wow.  Thanks, guys!  I didn't know Rich had posted about my terrain on here.  I very much appreciate your comments.

Bob da dowg, you'll be happy to know that I agree with you and that I have sinced airbrushed a tan color over the light areas to tone them down.
