Can Anyone ID This Bob Olley(?) Mini
« on: 25 March 2013, 11:52:23 PM »
My friend, floedebolle, over on Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum just purchased this piece that is advertised as a "pre-slotta base Bob Olley" mini. Anyone recognize it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks MUCHO for the info & the additional photos, Jonas. I actually should have recognized it by his distinctive (pistachio as Mason has aptly dubbed it) helmet. I had done a bunch of those cool old minis up for a short lived Sci Fi RPG many years ago...nice to see they're still around.

I don't think I mentioned it in the thread. But if you want to do an easy stripe like mine, I cut a piece of cardboard in the hight I wanted the stripe and then held it up while painting round with a flat brush with the width of the stripe. I had to touch up a bit afterwards, but it ended up pretty good I think.

So, it's not pre-slotta. It's post-slotta integral base.  :)

Thanks for all the additional pics Jonas, I think you should start a new thread with tons of pics of these really cool minis. I find these guys really refreshing, especially after years, and years of GW space marines.

Cheers,
 Damien
