Stunning bit of modelling
« on: March 30, 2013, 01:52:28 PM »
I've been sharing this on Facebook and thought it only fair to pop it up on here as I know how much we all enjoy a bit of modelling and this guy's project is stunning, plus he does a step by step. It's a long old thread so here's some photo highlights:

So many little details. The yellow container in the flatbed really tickled me. You can even see the liquid inside it. What a talented person.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

I guess the modelling-only crowd has it easier because people are *not* supposed to get their grubby paws on it, but this is really excellent. The storage rack is outrageously well done.

Until the last pic, I thought I was looking at places I've been killed in, while playing COD or Battlefield...  :?

It really is impressive though, thanks for sharing that Phil!  :)

Fark! That is good!
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo
