Pardon my ignorance, but can Gloire be used for Pirates?

Not only can it be used for Pirates, our first supplement will be called Under the Black Flag and will be all about Pirates. It will be out middle of next year.

Hey, Dominic! I boughht Gloire at Antwerp and after a first reading I'm pretty sure that you can use it for everything involving small groups of adventurers using black powder weapons or blades. It might even work for Robin Hood-style games, seven samurai or last of the mohicans with only a few adjustments.

Looks like I will wait for it to appear at Battlefield Berlin!

@Rich - have the Amazing War Stories gone out to your European dealers yet?  I have not seen it at Battlefield Berlin yet.

BB has Amazing War stories in stock, also it's possible to order Gloire (i did it :-))
