Tsuba Figure Comparisons
« on: April 11, 2013, 09:51:49 PM »
there are some comparisons of the Tsuba Bavarians along side some Brigade Games, Gripping Beast and Scarab figures on my page

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

The Griping beast mins seem to be the closest to scale. I am guessing they are from the GP woodbine design Turkish troops with stahlhelms. How close is the Turkish uniform to the German uniform of that era?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

pretty much the same uniform, all of the webbing and equipment are German.
they are wearing packs if it matters.
actually I have thought of combining the GB Turks in kepi and steel helmet heads with the Tsuba figures for The Beer Hall Putsch

would like to see that done. Of course don't forget to block out the symbols that can not be shown on German servers.  :)

Brigade Games also looked reasonably close.  The real outlier was Scarab.  They appear huge.

For the compatibility of Brigade Game and Tsuba -

Other than the two Austrian packs, the Austrians were sculpted by Paul Hicks so their size would be 100% compatible with Tsuba. The first two packs were sculpted by Mark Sims (Crusader Miniatures) so are slightly bigger.

Other than the two Italian Alpini packs, the Italians were also sculpted by Paul Hicks. Again the first two packs were sculpted by Mark Sims (Crusader).
