That Governor's daughter figure looks really smashing.

Those marines are sweet and dandy, too. Pity they look like they're from the 1780s, though.

Well, I've bought some of the chaps & they fit in well enough [if you like to have a variation in the size of your figures], but I agree, the ladies could be a little large for mixing in with other ranges :cry:

They are big, but not horribly so.

I also think having a dauntingly large Governor's Daughter makes for a nice change from the usual sort of fainting waif that fills that role.

I think with pirates different sizes are a good thing, as you don't have to worry about the size of weapons as is the case with WW1 or WW2 or even Old West.

I'm lucky in that I just starting my Pirate Collection, so I can pick the scale I want. I've finally gone with Black Scorpion and Black Cat,so looking forward to picking these new releases up tomorrow at Salute.

I have a lot of the Black Scorpion figures but none of the Balck cat are the comparable in size? for some reason I always thought Black cat figures looked to be smaller. If they are comparable I might get some. Thanks

I've measured Black Cat and Black Scorpion together and they are pretty similar. To be honest neither are that large IMHO and could be easily be integrated with other ranges.

Bought the Governor's Daughter and the Able Seaman at Salute today - both lovely BTW!
