Cheap Giants?

Can anyone suggest toys to use as Giants with 28mm figures? I know about the Harry Potter mountain troll  but are there any others? I'd like figures with scraps of clothing, ad hoc armour etc.

I used a McFarlane Conan I acquired in a trade as a Giant for my Barbarian Horde...I am sure there are more.

McFarlane is a good idea. I occasionally buy cheapo stuff on ebay with the idea of converting them someday (cutting them into bits is a real pain in the arse though, at least when using a hand saw). Some of the dragons (dragon series) look useful as well, as do the Warriors of zodiac (http://spawn.com/toys/series.aspx?series=385 ) for huge chaos beasties (gemini + cancer in particular), also this one (http://spawn.com/toys/product.aspx?product=2240 , easy enough to get him out of the cage) and the crocodile king as well. There's also a huge elephantish creature (poacher), that would work well as chaos giant.
For monsters Papo mutants, Schleich (world of history & wo fantasy), Safari Toys all have something useful.

You may also be able to find some of the old Narnia toys; the cyclops would make a good giant for 28mm figures.

And Schleich used to make a series of Vikings/Celts to go with their Romans - if you can find them at flea markets/boot sales, the barbaric types make good (more human appearing) giants.

Forgot, you could also check Papo's line of cavemen (Neanderthals) from their Dinosaurs and Prehistoric life line:

And 54mm figures make decent size giants for 28mm scale figures.  There are many Vikings in plastic, such as remakes of Marx figures (and originals are still relatively easy to find); Marx also made several cavemen that would work a treat (Timm-Mee also made a range - less well done).   (You might even be able to find a cheap, second-hand metal figure of a Viking/Barbarian.  Imrie-Risley does a Germanic Chieftain).

I used some D&D giants and re sculpted the mage knight Iron hills giant. Now I am working on a giant minotaur and Cyclops from safari ltd Cost about $4 at Michael's with a 50% off coupon
