This link should help you out chap-

I personally find Lledo vehicles to small. The thing to remember the vehicles back then were huge, if you ever see a vintage vehicle go and stand next to it... :)

In my experience, the Lledo ones look roughly 1/50 scale, while the Matchbox ones are more around 1/60.

These are the Lledo ones (don't have pics of the matchbox ones, but I got those to go with a true 25mm ~1/60 scale project):

And the plastic figures that come with some of them might give an indication of scale too:

Also, as a general rule, vans and small trucks will always be smaller than cars within the same brand due to the fit-in-the-box scale, so Lledo vans will likely be closer to 1/55-1/60. Demonstrated here (back row):

Well, I made some test purchases based on all your help, and here's what I ended up with.

First up, here is my resin Lanchester Armoured Car for Comparison:

Matchbox Y31-B 1931 Morris Courier:

Lledo DG 020 Ford A Stake Truck:

Overall I think they look good.  If you want to see how these look compared to real life photos, you can find additional info on the blog:

Thanks for the help everyone!
