Yes they are. The nice thing are the pith helmets are slightly too big/zombie heads are small, so they fit over them well. I would suggest to get some loose arms(viking arms minus the chainmail should work, or even the WW2) from one of the eBay places that carry other WF stuff as the arms for the British are MASSIVE and 90% of the zombie ones are bareless.

The building is nice!

While I do love plastic kits, I'm going to stay away from the WF zombies. I simply hate the sculpting too much.

I will pick up the Hinterland zombies to paint up as a marching band. I think I'll use my HS colors of red & white.

Will also pick up a few figures from ZombieSmith. These are the figures I'm interested in:

I'll get both a zombie and hapless victim in one pack. Rather nice IMO. Next up is patient zero. The authorities believed him mad you see, but no amount of opiates could keep him down.

Finally nothing says Zombie Apocalypse like zombie children!

The boy is properly in short pants.

I'll make these purchases this month and the next. I really need to paint up more of my lead pile before I buy more. 8)

You could use Empress plastic Zulu war Brits with Mantic plastic zombie and/or ghouls. Or even bits from Studio Miniatures plastic zombies.

@ White Knight Yes Sir I could and one day I will. But for now I want to create a horde of civilian zombies. Which I'll build over time. ;)

Look at recreational conflict for some more zombies like the nun and choir boy then. :)

You should check out Cold War Miniatures for zombies too.

There are a few that will work OK in Victorian times.
A lot of their range appears modern but have a look as there are a few gems including a Guardsman wearing a bearskin and a Morris Dancer.

Their website is down at the moment but should be up soon.
They also sell on ebay.

As their site is down at the moment, I cannot be sure, but I think they are in a pack with a British title of some sort.

Check out their ebay listings when they next put some up.

So I took White Knight's advice and checked out Recreational Conflict, and what did I find? A sale on Lideo diecast vehicles! They are on sale and in limited quantity so snapped up a few this weekend. The Lideo horse drawn vehicles are listed as 20-25mm in scale, which would make them a little small. But at $3 a piece how can I go wrong? They will do nicely as stand ins until West Wind offers there new vehicles.

Here is the link to Recreational Conflict http://www.recreationalconflict.com

Next update will be a Zombie one.

Yes, I have some of those Lledo horse drawn vehicles too. They are a decent enough scale, but I agree the horses are not too good.
