This is EXACTLY how I have always imagined the cylinder on Horsell Commom. To be really really picky, perhaps it should have a bit more earth thrown up around it to be true to the book but nevertheless it's still a cracking pic.

well, the cylinder hit the ground diagonally, and all the ground is on the other side, of course! :)

There's a bit of ABS pipe at work that might suffice with suggested size in that photo...  ;)

Don't suppose you have a clear pic of Martian machines by any chance?

Is this the same lot who already did a movie set in the victorian era? Or a new lot, or did they release their film again???
