Pulp Alley AAR - Raiders vs. Legionnaires
« on: May 07, 2013, 03:15:04 AM »
A small band of raiders approaches the settlement. They aim to loot the town before more of the French Foreign Legion arrives on the scene.

The goal of the scenario was to wipe all of the Legionnaires off the board before the end of turn 6. After that, backup arrives and the game is concluded as a victory for the French.

The Raiders quickly move up to a box of explosives. They loot it on turn 2 and acquire the +1 Tip Plot Point.

The rest of the band engages the Legionnaires in combat, felling their trusty companion.

Le Borgne rolls behind the compromised truck to fire quick rounds at the Raiders.

Inspired by their Captain, the Legionnaires move up to fire hot lead at the Raiders. A few of each side fall in the shoot-out.

The Raiders rush the hesitant French and engage in fierce brawls.

The leader of the raiders rushes Le Borgne and the two throw brutal punches. Le Borgne pushes the raider away with a Knockback.

A raider moves to shoot at Le Borgne after he climbs onto the roof of a household. Le Borgne falls and is ko'd.

The next turn, the Raider turns around to pick up another plot point.

The raiders surround the last legionnaire, taking him down on the last turn.

The Desert Raiders ended up winning the scenario with two plot points and the major plot point, capturing Le Borgne. This was a fun scenario that played great.

The Pulp Alley AARs always look so much fun.  I think I'll pick up the rules for a birthday gift to myself.  Do you all ever get to Tulsa to do demo games?

I was talking to someone just recently about trying to make it to Tulsa for a con... I think it was in October? maybe?

It is quite an ordeal for us to travel, but Tulsa is only a couple hours away. We'd like to get over there.

Are there any cons in Tulsa that you'd highly recommend?

And I hope you have fun playing Pulp Alley! Happy Birthday!  :D

THANKS

Beautiful scenery. Sounds like a very fun game- I'll have to check it out.

Super write up.
The Raiders won the day.
Am sure the Legion will get even.

Hmm, I'm not much for cons myself, so I don't know that I can be much help there. I believe ComicCon is still the largest geek-gathering in Tulsa. It looks like it is being held in August again this year.

If you do make it out this way I hope you'll post a notice on the board to let us know. There are a couple of us from Tulsa here on the boards.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

Wow!  :-* Great eye candy! Great AAR too, and I'm looking forward to the time the Legion Etrangere gets even. Will pick up a set of the rules too, once funds permit.

This scenario played out much more like a typical skirmish games. In this case, that was the 'story'.

Sometimes its fun to forget about the plot points and just beat the hell out of each other!  lol lol

HAVE FUN

Pure eye candy  :-*

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!
