Walkers are very nice, I guess if you wanted more height you could always extend the legs by grafting in some plastic rod.

Here's one of mine with the Perry farm house, a GW Kroot and a Perry AWI Redcoat. No they don't all belong together, but a 1700's version of Falling Skies might be a fun game. Even though I don't think a round ball from a Brown Bess would do much to an alien mech.

I did magnetize it, even though techinally you could just slip the arms in and out of the slots. I ended up cutting metal squares and gluing them to the body with the magnet in the arms. It works pretty well expect the big gun does want to point up unless I rest it on the leg. And the heat ray also wants to only hang low because of the extra weight.

Now to do the other nine assult walkers and six scouts....

My stuff arrived yesterday.   The plastic tripods seem to have lost a lot of detail compared to the models shown during the KS project.   A quick look at the heat ray arms makes this very obvious.   Book looks fantastic and over all I'm okay with what was delivered.

They seem to have made some interesting choices.  Grenadier tripods don't have bases, but have a leg longer than the others as if it should be on a base (longer part would fit into hole on base and even it out).   Pictures of 'rout' counters in the book, but none included in the provided counters.

I sure wish we had some idea when he second wave/missing items would get to us.  I have 31 different items (and multiples of some of them) not yet shipped.   It would be nice to get them as several are needed to fill out army choices (have zombie slaves but no slaver tripod for example).

Every time a bad person dies, a Paratrooper gets his wings.

Got my box today!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I've got like 11 tripods and 15 tanks.  o_o

Lots left to come.  ;D

Tis enough to create an American, British and Martian Army.

When they start putting out their Venusian stuff... you know where I'm going...   :D
