Saga fantasy
« on: May 10, 2013, 02:46:04 PM »
Hi again,
yesterday I played my first at home game of Saga. We used anglo-Danes for Bestmen and Vikings for Orcs.
The Scenario was Nr. 6 from the main Saga rulebook. It was a very much fun game, bloody and all.

The Orcs gave in to their nature and attackes too fierce therefor putting their warlord into the open too soon. He was crushed under the cloven hooves of the homesick Beastman raiders.

But have a look (pictures were taken under difficult light conditions, so I am sorry for the bad quality)

Troll ans wyvern represented Levi troops.

Best regards

Great looking table and a fun sounding game.  I love to see those classic Chaos Centaurs in action!

Cheers,

Extremely nice set up. Did saga work well for the game or was there some suspense of logic?

Your board is amazing! A question about Saga, are there many army lists that can be substituted for fantasy races?

Thanks for any info in advance,

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Extremely nice set up. Did saga work well for the game or was there some suspense of logic?

Shieldwall and Fantasy work well together. One can imagine orcs and dwarves rolling back and forth on a battlefield.

So all went well.

Your board is amazing! A question about Saga, are there many army lists that can be substituted for fantasy races?

As long as you have the feeling that the overall theme of the battle board matches the characteristics of your fantasy race it works well.

This is a superb looking table. I am particularly fond of that windmill  :D

Which exactly isn't from me. I yous got it from another gamer in my town.

Greetings
GS
