Finished off my military cast. I had intended to use them solely for Department X but they will be used for all sorts so decided against specific markings on them for now.

Anyway here is the completed force.

Corporal, Captain Banner and Sergeant Murphy

Soldiers with SMG (Corporal included)

Soldiers With Rifles

Sergeant Murphy and Dog Handler with Guard dogs

Better pic of the Guard dogs

And the sniper?

Lovely work. Truly inspiring.

Thanks guys, The Trucks are DeAgostini's Soviet car range 1/43 in 'scale' they popped up in Poundland but they have sold out really quick. I picked up some civilian cars and a ambulance last week and have been to 4 local ones and they where all sold out apart from these two red vans.

I'm not sure of the model as its all in Russian but it was a fire utility truck I removed the ladders from the top of the tarp and left the siren/spotlight on them. The Tarps can come off and there is two rows of seats in the back. They do have them on ebay as well. Usually under 1/43 Soviet or 1/43 Russian searchs.

The sniper is a Westwind SOTR Sniper with a Crooked Dice Minion head added.

I've done some googling and ebay search's and it is a PMG-20 fire Truck or GAZ 69.

Been working on the background for a Mercenary company.

'The Wild Ducks'

Officially the 13th Commando regiment. but - if you can contact them, and can afford them - you can hire 'The Wild Ducks' a band of soldiers available for those jobs that can't be done by the book. Performing missions usually for Queen and country Captain Charles Mallard otherwise known as 'Drakey'  leads his men on top secret missions. Whether it is to remove from power a tinpot dictator, capturing dope smugglers in South America or Arms dealers supplying weapons to warlords in Africa no job is to small  or to dirty for his highly trained soldiers.

Great stuff. I'm a fan of The Wild Ducks. Nice head conversions, they really look the part.
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Poundland in Bristol hasn't got them. :-[ There are some bigger trucks in the same range but they are more like 20mm scale.
