Both lovely groups.

Blue, I do love the succession of medieval/fantasy teams you've been turning out for the whole LPL. Are they all GW Bretonnians? If I was putting together a classic Robin Hood group, you'd be hard-pressed to find better figures than these to fit the bill...  :)

That's right capt....these are all mid-90s GW sculpts by the Perry Bros.  I really fell for this range after painting some archers for LPL5 and have spent the intervening time collecting most of the range....though I don't have nearly all the knights yet...and am not sure I need more than a dozen or so.  I started this war party in mid January and its finally starting to look like a fighting force now....but still plenty to come...including a unit of halberds ...the aforementioned knights and a couple of character models one of which is a perfect Robin Hood.

This group,  and next weeks, are with out scenery because they have been painted and photographed in a hotel room while I'm away on an archaeological field project.

Cheers,

Blue

The Chindits are good but they need a little bit of sweat and dust. You can't be in the jungle for months at a time and look so clean.
I am interested in land warfare throughout history and beyond, except the Seven Years War, in Europe.

Haha it's like déjà Vu all over again!  Yeah I'm on a mission and the LPL is a good motivator to get it done!
