Now, who's going to crack the 10 percent?

ME!  :D

Put the varnish on about 20mins ago, stuck him outside in the sun to dry and then hobbled in to take the photos  :)

40mm Battle Honours on a 30mm base, not the best sculpt but it painted fine.

Entry No. 10: Gladiator

cheers

Top start, James, very nice paintwork! And congrats to the 10% figure :)

Looks like we need some opposition to all the Romans here. Here comes Hildegar, der Speerkämpfer, a German warrior from the feared tribe of Cherusci. I just love this figure, being quite calm but yet having some great character. It's a Black Tree Design miniature, 28mm.

Entry Nr.11 (Ancient German warrior)

Seconded, great stuff all round. :)

Well I like all those. The tribesman is a particularly interesting figure Alex. Never seen him before. Black Tree Design might be worth another look!

Jan, that's a great conversion of the Salute figure.

And James, your gladiator took me straight back to the movie! :D

Puh. Midnight in Germany, so I can post this evenings work. A warrior from Foundrys excellent European Bronze Age Range. I gave him a few tatoos, because he looked a bit "naked" without.

Entry No. 12: Bronze Age Warrior
