Wow, only $196 for the Mustang. Totally seems fair  lol

I sat in the last Canadian wartime Mustang a couple of years ago. it was pretty cool.

Great! Only $200 plus a couple of weeks sanding, filling, re-scribing panel lines, sanding, sanding again, a bit more sanding, buffing then maybe hoping that the primer smooths out the remaining ridges and dunes.

To think I could spend $20 on a far more detailed 1/48 model of a P-51 and easier to construct but where's the fun in that? Actually for $200 I could probably have a couple of high quality, diecast pre-paints for that price.

I bought other times in Shapeways. 1/56 scale vehicles (only a pair) and accesories, never need sand, only to fix and paint. I hope this time will be the same. They use a plastic powder 3d printer and usually they have very quality products. Very different from the plastic wire 3d printers.

It is a expensive plane, of course, but I think is due to the materials and the limited production. Is not a factory. For my army I only need one P51 Mustang (or two for collection) to give some air support using the Bolt Action´s extended air support rules. Very funny when the opponent has anti-aircraft guns or another plane. And in this case you can buy too stand, pilots and bombs. According to vendor, you can choose to put the detachable tanks or the bombs whenever you want, and the same for the landing gear. :o

I hope to see 1/56 scale plastic aircrafts from Revell or other maker. From my point of view is only to change the scale of the actual commercial models.   :? . In the meanwhile I think this is a good option to have all the army on the same scale consistently.

Too late. I have one :D. Christmas too. Thank you.

Really very good quality. Expensive but very good quality. Panel lines well defined and the possibility to change the undercarriage between close or open is fantastic.

After see the P51D I sent an e-mail to them asking for more airplanes. BF109E, Corsair, Spitfire, ...

And now waiting Stuka from Blitzkrieg Miniatures. Perry has the german pilots.

Hi there, would any care to comment on whether Warlord/Bolt Action figures are compatible with Blacktree design?

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

A few months ago I saw a news item about some new 28mm WWII American infantry. They were plastic, and were described as being close to heroic 28mm. They were the. Whining of a new line but I seem to recall it was an older company. Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks.

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of 28mm winter gear IJA suitable for Manchuria and China during the 30's/40's?
