The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne
« on: June 08, 2013, 09:04:40 AM »
I just got a copy of the series at a Con last week and I gotta say, is chalk full of ideas. I slightly remember watching it back when it was on TV (early 2000's?). British secert service agents, flying machine, crazy tanks, and a leather clad hottie. Not to mention the various plots that would work pretty nice for games.

I don't know where one can get this, perhaps some online site or Youtube, but if you can its worth it for the VSF stuff. Plus its just the right level of steampunk that doesn't make you wonder how they glued gears there.

Yes, some of it is available on YouTube;

I loved this show! Vampires with rocket packs! And I had a big crush on Ms. Fogg.

I'd never heard of this until now! It looks wonderful. Ah, it dates back to when SciFi channel had some good shows on it.  ;) I'll have to see if it's available on DVD.

Didn't know about this, but you had me at 'leather-clad hottie'.

I will have to search this out I think.

Ah yes, I should add "redhead" to the leather clad bit. A one Francesca Hunt as the agent Rebecca Fogg.

If anyone knows of a "not" figure of her, let me know.

Hasslefree Dionne could easily converted.
