Holy hell, where is the "Both!" button when you need it?

Lovely use of various Pulp Figures characters to assemble the sailors, and great use of tiny (1:1200 or 1:2400?) ship models in the background for forced perspective.

The Deep Ones are awesome too, and I especially like the layout of the two photos. You see the very nice set of smaller figures, who would be well worth looking at anyway... and then you zoom out, so to speak, to see the real horror looming above them!

Dagon?

This is one of those great match-ups where I would like to see both teams battle it out on the tabletop...

Wow, both sweet.

Dolmot you have a very impressive collection of seaborne nasties. Love the effect of scrolling down and seeing the huge creature- lucky me, I was on a laptop!

I love the names of your entries lol

Very impressive painting in the seascape, love the use of the small ships, wonderfully done.

Tough call!

Both of you have done an excellent job of using models in different scales to great advantage.

Excellent work gentlemen!

Since some of you asked: The big critter is "Morgraur-Rashaar" from Vesper-On's Carnevale game. Here's a link:

Well done to both of you for 2 excellent entries.

@ Dolmot - as I scrolled down to your pic I was thinking  - wow what great painting again, oh, I wonder what those legs belong to? - Then I found out !

@ D@rth J@ymZ - excellent scene setting, to match your brilliant painting of the uniforms.  If I have any criticism at all it's that the yellow boots stand out a bit too much.  Only a minor thing compared to the great work on display though.

Great collection of Deep Ones there Dolmot.  I really like the lighthouse in the background and it seems fitting that the sailors would be facing off against them  ;)

My yellow booted sailor is based on a personal hero of mine  ;) :D

Minus the bow of course...
