Pulp Alley AAR -- Left for Dead!
« on: June 14, 2013, 04:21:59 AM »
This game was played as a GM'd scenario, pitting Elaine and a ragtag league against the traps and monsters within the Tomb of Nehab...

LEFT FOR DEAD

In an effort to free her sister from the clutches of the evil Shiek Al-Jabarti, Elaine has agreed to retrieve the Lion Necklace from King Nehab’s Tomb. Elaine is accompanied by her faithful servant Nestor and a handful of Sheik Al-Jabarti’s surly men.

Elaine reads the ancient hieroglyphs and warns her companions, "Stay behind me if you value your life."…

Scoffing, one of the desert raiders moves ahead, only to trigger a deadly fire trap…

Elaine disarms the trap, and the rest fall in close behind her...

The long hall, it seems safe. "Why so many bones?" one of the raiders whispers...

Rushing from the bone pile, giant bloodsucking scurry towards a raider...

The raider is quickly overwhelmed by the ravenous ticks...

Elaine, Nestor, and the last raider stand their ground and dispatch the tick swarm...

"This is it, the necklace is close." Elaine scans the room for dangers...

Flames blast from the statue and Elaine escapes without injury. Nestor decides it will be safer to stay near the entrance...

Another swarms of giant ticks rush from the darkness, drawn by the scent of fresh blood...

Elaine leaps to help Nestor and the tick swarm is defeated with only the last raider suffering a serious injury...

Nestor's toothless grin quickly fades as he sees the mummy of Nehab beginning to move...

The raider fires his rifle as Nehab closes in, but he is no match for the mummy's powers...

Elaine tries to hold back Nehab, giving Nestor time to break the mummy's spell...

The raider and Elaine try to distract the mummy of Nehab but it is only a matter of time before both of bloodied and bruised...

Finally, Nestor breaks the spell, but it is too late for Elaine - and the raider collects the necklace...

"Follow me not old fool! Or you'll be as dead as your brave mistress." the raider threatens Nestor before disappearing into the darkness with the Lion Necklace of Nehab...

Old faithful Nestor kneels beside his unconscious mistress and quickly tends to the most serious of her wounds.
"Dead? I think not so much. And I think it is Sheik Al-Jabarti who will regret that Elaine was left for dead."

THANKS!

Agreed. Hirst molds I believe.  ;)  Who makes the sarcophagus, skull piles and blood suckers from this nail biter of a pulp adventure?

Another great AAR.

Thanks for sharing.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

Very cool. I'm trying to wrap my head around the different ways the fortune cards can be used, this helps a lot.

Like others, I'd like to know who makes the various figures. I feel like I owned that sarcophagus once... Grendel maybe?

Great scenario. Definitely looks like Hirst Arts stuff. Every time I see it I want to buy some, but I know that I'd probably never get around to making something as cool as this with it.

What a great and simple game.
What's going to happen when Lady Elaine  next meets the evil Sheik Al-Jabarti?
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.
