Thanks for the heads up on the manufacturers. I need to get some painting done to justify getting some of those.

Awesome,
Next mission is the invation of the red planet .
Any ideas on who makes suitable Alien ships to represent indiginous life on Mars?   Looking for 2 distinct types.  One more humanoid one more giant squid or some such.

If you can find any, there's the old Game Tech range of SkyGalleons of Mars ships. Alternatively how about some of the Brigade Models, Iron Stars ships for the humanoid race?

Some time ago I passed by some aeronef goodies. Then, I got lost in the work-a-day world.

This thread brings them back into my sights.

Please excuse the question, what scale are these, 6mm = 1/285 or 1/300 if I recall correctly.

I would suppose 25mm or 28mm vessels are also produced (or kit-bashed)?

Looks like some good hardware for thrashing about.

I suppose there are rules a-plenty also?

Very tidy work by the way. Like the ensigns also.

1:1200 although the Irregular vessels are listed in their 6mm category.

Yes it's a Wessex ship. They have some that aren't currently available (including the Xenephon gunships) but if you email Steve there he might be able to help you out

Lovely, I'll drop Steve an e-mail.

I heard back from Steve, unfortunately he no longer has any of the models I'm after but he did say that, time allowing, he will be re-releasing them later this year along with some new designs.

In the meantine, if anyone has any old Wessex Games nefs they don't want...........

I have quite a few of the Brigade models and even painted some of them. Never played the game although I did get a set of the rules.

I had never seen those Irregular ones before but will have to get some now - especially the larger ones.
