Roman army pack sizes
« on: June 22, 2013, 09:38:43 PM »
Hello all,
Hope you dont mind but thought I'd pick your brains.
We are just finishing off the masters for our forthcoming Ceasarian Roman range in 10mm and our mind was turning towards production moulds and pack sizes.
At the moment we are planning the Legionaries to be in packs of 20, with another pack containing 4 Centurions, 4 maniple/cohort standards, 4 conrniciers and 4 trumpeters. Optios will be in a seoerate pack of 8 figures.
There will be a command pack with the aquifier, Legate a couple of Tribunes, senoir centurion and 2 corniciers.

Any views on our current ideas or suggestion for it being differet?

Any thought welcome and of course you dont have to be interested in 10mm to have something interesting to say on the matter.

I think that you might want to subtlely ask this question on the Pendraken forums as that's where a lot of the 10mm Ancients crowd seem to 'hang-out'! I think that WarMaster and it's derivatives dominate the 10mm gaming hobby so you probably need to sort out pack sizes to suit WarMaster ancients etc. Sadly I've no idea what those are as I'm a 6mm or 15mm man for Ancients!

Cheers

Thank you Jules,
Not sure hijacking another manufacturers forum is quite the done thing but then again would be the sort of thing the Romans would do lol
Imput from other sources pretty much confirms plan A so that's what we are going with at the moment.
