Love the blog idea, I hope to be inspired enough by your progress to paint my own bones.  Right now I have them all out on a table staring at me, and I can't even figure out where to start.

You've done a great job painting these!

Haha why not play painter's lottery? Dump them all in a box or bag and just pick one out randomly. I'm thinking that might be how I do it.

You've made a SPLENDID start...the Bat Swarm is particularly nice. Just don't get intimidated by THE VAST PILE of minis to be painted; keep up the FINE WORK & enjoy the process!

Thanks for the continued support, everyone.
Yes, its hard to know where to start. I'm starting with grabbing randomly from a bag that I put the original 30 Bones that were offered into.

I really enjoy your project, CPalmer! I'm still waiting for my order to be dispatched :( but then again, I already have thousands of unpainted miniatures so I'm not really in a rush. =)

Looking great so far! I'm really glad to hear these first-person accounts of no-prime painting for Bones. I'm looking forward to picking up a few loose figures to play around with.

I like the conversion of the Dragon Head Staff into a Fish Staff...The Fish looks like a Gar with a SERIOUS attitude problem. The Sea Sorcerer persona comes across nicely through your color choices & base...love that sea shell. Your FINE brushwork brings out his salt encrusted personality. GREAT WORK!

Nice work on the fires.
I have been wondering how to tackle the translucent bones and you have given me some good ideas.

Thank you
